Creating the Perfect Strawberry Salad Dressing

The best part about this recipe is that it's easy to customize based on your individual tastes. Start by combining 2 cups of thawed (thaw overnight in the fridge or in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time) or fresh strawberries and 1/4 cup of olive oil in a blender or food processor. Once blended together, add in 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of honey. Blend once more until the ingredients are fully combined and creamy. Taste the mixture to ensure that it is to your liking! You may want to add more honey or balsamic vinegar if desired.

MStoring Your Strawberry Salad Dressing

Transfer the dressing into an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to one week. To use it, simply drizzle over your favorite greens such as locally grown microgreens from our friends and neighbors at Traveling Roots Farmstead in Theresa before serving. If you want to add some extra flavor, try adding Widmer’s brick cheese for an added layer of complexity!
